On Sunday, June 5th, 2010, my family decided to hike to the Big Four Ice Caves in Granite Falls. We’d wanted to check out the ice caves for a few years, and finally decided to go for it. From various websites, the hike sounded to be around 2.2 miles roundtrip, family friendly and easily hiked. Boy, we were in for a surprise.
