I bought a set of high rings and mounts from UTG that cost me if I remember correctly under $20.00 I they worked just fine for me with a Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 …I recently purchased a Ruger MPR. I also purchased a magpul dual QD sling that has not arrived. Looking at the specs of my ar, it has a magpul MOE adjustable stock. I realize I will need to purchase a MLOK QD attachment if I want to attach my sling to a second point at the front of my rifle.

Just get a normal GI Sling and pick up a quick detach sling swivel. The ar556 has a QD point machined into the bottom of the front sight. Attach the front of the sling there and the other end to the buttstock. Dec 28, 2020 · Looks like it just has a screw holding it in place. Figured it would be the easiest option, she will rarely be using the sling. And would like to be able to attach and remove it quickly. The easiest option would be to replace the stock with a Magpul stock that has the built in QD release.
